What does a holiday mean for your religion Religious involvement in the Netherlands decreased further between 2017 and 2019 – but it seems to be the opposite in Amstelveen during the holidays. Sinterklaas is celebrated in a grand manner while the Christmas decorations have already been displayed. Holidays bring fraternization and bring people together. But does this happen enough in this city and can every religion express itself sufficiently in Amstelveen?
